Coming up from South Brooklyn, coworking space Bklyn Commons will open a second location in Bedford-Stuyvesant this coming spring, according to a report in The Real Deal magazine.
At a reported 30,000 square feet, the space will be nearly three times as large as the existing Bklyn Commons space in Lefferts Gardens, which opened this spring with about 11,000 square feet.
We asked Bklyn Commons President Jack Srour what separates his space from the rest of the field.
“We focus on hyper local clientele and embrace the community as a whole,” he responded. “We listen to our members and react quickly if we see that there is a common theme that they request.”

The coworking business keeps rolling on. Bklyn Commons’ announcement comes within weeks of the announcement of a new coworking space in Industry City and a $37 million raise by Industrious.
But with all the coworking in Brooklyn, even some in the industry wonder if the market is saturated.
