Two Brooklyn startups make Entrepreneur 360 list

We can think of a whole lot more deserving startups, but hey, maybe we'll have to make our own list.

Entrepreneur makes a list each year ranking the top 360 small businesses that apply to the magazine for recognition. Two Brooklyn companies made the cut this year: BoxMyDorm came in at No. 294 and Setton Brothers at No. 322.
“We have this crazy idea at Entrepreneur,” the magazine wrote. “We want to identify 360 small businesses each year that are mastering that continuous process—that keep all their parts growing in harmony. To do this, we invited companies to apply and evaluated them based on four metrics: impact, innovation, growth, and leadership. The result is our Entrepreneur 360 list.”

BoxMyDorm is a bit like Uber for moving, for college students. Students can order a packing kit from the company, put their stuff in it, and then a mover comes to take their stuff and hold onto it for the summer. In the fall, BoxMyDorm brings your belongings back and you’re ready to move in.
Setton Brothers makes quality briefcases and laptop carriers and sells over Shopify. Brothers Yoel and Mendy Setton have been in the clothing business for a long time, and in the 1990s decided there was an underserved market laptop and tablet cases. Who still carries a briefcase? There’s no more briefs! They’re just PDFs!
