Your new favorite internet game: manygolf

You should just play it.

Brooklyn programmer Thomas Boyt introduced manygolf to BrooklynJS last night and it has been a hit in the Technical.ly Slack channel this morning.
Boyt describes the browser game as, “a massively multiplayer golf game. Everyone plays together, simultaneously, in the same session.”
Play manygolf

In the game, you use the arrow keys to point where you’d like to launch your little golf ball and hold the space bar to control how hard you hit it. It’s fun enough on its own but then you’re in a group with several other live players and there are drives flying all over the place and putts bouncing off walls. The player to get the ball in the cup in the least number of strokes wins, and if two are tied the win goes to whoever got it in first. You can also communicate with 🙂 and 🙁 emoticons.
Boyt is a software engineer and Recurse Center alumnus and is looking for work. Check out his website.
