Blockful is a business started by three guys living in three separate cities, Brooklyn, Chicago and Seattle. They got the idea to start a business curating boxes of handmade foods after smack talking at length about which city was better tasting. Their Chicago box just got covered by Crain’s.
The Flavor Block Brooklyn is available for $60, and includes a can of pickles, pear hard candy, two kinds of beef jerky, kimchi paste and water taffy. Brooklyn has a box of booze in the works.
The three founders had their “first annual conference” of three, this week in Seattle.
