Philly begins its journey to regulate AI

Councilmember Rue Landau presented a resolution to City Council on Thursday requesting to hold hearings about the state of AI in Philadelphia. It’s the first step toward figuring out how to legislate the challenges and opportunities the tech presents, she said. 

Plus, at the state level, Pennsylvania senators are working on bills that regulate deepfakes and AI disclosure.
