Position Summary
The Manager, Entrepreneurial Programs leads PACT’s mentorship and entrepreneurship initiatives, most notably Mentor Connect, an award-winning joint program with Ben Franklin Technology Partners SEPA and part of a global community created by MIT. This role also develops and executes additional offerings that support entrepreneurs throughout Greater Philadelphia’s innovation ecosystem. This role combines program strategy, relationship management, and data-driven evaluation to ensure PACT remains the region’s hub for founders seeking growth, capital, and connection.
We are looking for a candidate who has a base-knowledge of the Greater Philadelphia Innovation Eco-System, experience as an entrepreneur or working directly with entrepreneurs, and a desire to network in person with the community we serve.

Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
- Lead the design, administration, execution, and evaluation of Mentor Connect, ensuring measurable outcomes for mentors, mentees, and partners.
- Recruit, onboard and engage mentees and mentors
- Produce at least 2–3 annual events (Lessons Learned programming) for Mentor Connect participants and entrepreneurial members.
- Develop and implement additional entrepreneur-focused programs and events, expanding PACT’s & BFTP SEPA's value to startups and early-stage companies.
- Create systems to track participant engagement, outcomes, and satisfaction using CRM databases, Excel, and analytics tools.
- Integrate AI, automation and new technology to enhance program delivery, matchmaking, and insight generation as well as to streamline administrative work.
- Coordinate entrepreneurial engagement within PACT’s signature events, including the Mid-Atlantic Capital Conference (MACC), Enterprise Awards and Top Pitch series.
Partnership & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary Mentor Connect liaison to Ben Franklin Technology Partners SEPA and other ecosystem collaborators in relation to entrepreneurial programming
- Recruit, onboard, and train mentors; support mentees through goal setting, progress tracking, and milestone achievements.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders, and community partners.
- Collaborate with the Membership team to recruit and retain entrepreneur-level members.
Program Operations & Reporting
- Manage program budgets, schedules, and deliverables to align with PACT’s strategic goals.
- Track KPIs and report on program impact to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with grant and sponsor requirements; support fundraising and sponsorship fulfillment.
- Prepare presentations and data-driven reports highlighting program success stories and measurable impact.
Marketing & Communications
- Partner with the Marketing team to craft storytelling campaigns showcasing entrepreneur success and PACT related- outcomes.
- Regularly contribute content for newsletters, social media, and blogs promoting program achievements and opportunities.
- Represent PACT at ecosystem events, panels, and regional entrepreneurship forums.
Ideal Qualifications and Qualities
- 4–6 years of experience in program and event management, preferably in entrepreneurship, innovation, or nonprofit sectors
- Proven ability to design, execute, and evaluate programs that deliver measurable results
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills using Excel, databases, and CRM systems (GrowthZone & Traction5 experience strongly preferred)
- Comfort with AI, automation, and emerging technology tools that improve efficiency and insights
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, while connecting the dots and streamlining work
- Ability to seek clarity and excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
- Creative, analytical thinker able to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
- Polished oral and written communication skills; speaks and writes clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles, gets messages across that have the desired effect
- Interpersonal savvy; professionally and confidently interacts with a diverse blend of personalities and people
- Self-motivated, with a high level of initiative and ability to operate effectively with minimal day-to-day supervision
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness; maintains confidentiality and privacy, admits mistakes, and meets commitments.
- Ability to actively work without frequent interruption or distraction during standard business hours within the Pacific time zone, with some flexibility to work outside of standard hours on occasion.
- Ability to travel within designated region
