The Department of Small Business Services is holding a workshop on the basics of starting a business in our fair city.
Business Planning Basics, Brooklyn will help teach how to “organize your business idea into a structured plan, identify and promote your business to potential customers, fulfill the legal requirements of starting your business, and develop your financial projections.”
The workshop will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Downtown Brooklyn.
The NYC Department of Small Business Services is a city administration that works to “unlock economic potential and create economic security for all New Yorkers by connecting New Yorkers to good jobs, creating stronger businesses, and building a fairer economy in neighborhoods across the five boroughs.”
So if you’ve had an idea for a startup but never knew where to begin, this could be a good opportunity. Also, it’s free.
