At the start of the school year, FMC Corporation donated 125 hands-on science kits to eighth and ninth grade science teachers at the School District of Philadelphia through a partnership with the Philadelphia Math + Science Coalition. The Center City chemical company held a company-wide science supply drive this summer to collect materials for the kits.

The City of Philadelphia recently launched its own crowdfunding campaign to raise money for school supplies for the cash-strapped District.
