Meet Economic Development Administration
The Economic Development Administration (EDA) is an agency within the federal Department of Commerce that supports economic development through a mix of grants, technical assistance and other initiatives. Its programs include the Regional Technology and Innovation Hubs (Tech Hubs) initiative, which the 2022 CHIPS and Science Act authorized to distribute millions in federal funds to regional innovation ecosystems around the country.
