Malcolm Coley is an alumnus of Seton Hall University, where he earned a Bachelor of
Science in Chemistry in 2008.
Malcolm is the Founder of ReadyPromptOne, which hosted Delaware’s First AI
Summit. ReadyPromptOne was created to drive innovation, education, advocacy, and
cultural impact in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
As the Chief Technology Officer at Futures First Gaming, an educational technology
and esports entertainment company with STEM accreditation, Malcolm plays a pivotal
role in reshaping career pathways. The company’s motto, “Futures First Begins with
Gaming,” reflects its commitment to merging education and entertainment. Futures First
Gaming has established a pathway partnership with Wilmington University, allowing
high school students to earn college credits and industry certifications through its
programs. The company also runs a workforce development initiative focused on
21st-century career skills such as game development, coding, entrepreneurship, and
event production. Recently, Futures First Gaming opened FFG Central, Delaware’s first
Esports and Technology Training Center.
Malcolm is also the CEO and Co-Founder of LocNationTM, the largest online
community dedicated to celebrating locs and the natural hair movement. LocNationTM
has grown to over 800,000 followers across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok
and operates a physical salon in New Castle, Delaware.
In his role as Director of Digital Media at Influencers Lab Media, a full-service
marketing firm, Malcolm co-founded Spending Black Matters, a digital marketplace
and Facebook group with over 30,000 members. The platform promotes financial
empowerment, generational wealth, and the circulation of Black buying power.
He is a proud 2023 Leadership Delaware Fellow, recognized as one of Delaware’s
most promising and influential young leaders. His accomplishments earned him a place
on the Delaware Business Times Top 40 Under 40 list in 2023, honoring professionals
who demonstrate innovation, leadership, and community impact.
Malcolm is currently pursuing a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Data Science and
Artificial Intelligence and serves on the Advisory Board for the Morgan State
University Center for Data Analytics and Sports Gaming Research. He serves on
the Workforce Development Board for the State of Delaware, and also serves on the
Board for the Delaware Prosperity Project.
He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and Union Lodge #21,
Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Delaware.
