Wondergy is taking its interactive science demos on the road.
Founded in 2002, the University City-based education and consulting organization aims to make science fun, as Keystone Edge has reported. That means using liquid nitrogen to make ice cream, playing with lasers and explaining the science of skateboarding.
This year, Wondergy will bring its shows on both laser science and skateboard science to more than 700 schools, said cofounder Ken Fink.
The 11-person team also develops custom science programs for students and adults, Fink said. For example, it might develop a program for a company in order to explain the science of a company’s technology or to add value to a company’s product or brand.
