Vinetta Project chooses 4 semifinalists for first round of 2017 $20K challenge

Let’s get a belated International Women’s Day shoutout for these impressive local female entrepreneurs.

The Vinetta Project’s D.C. chapter announced on Wednesday that it has chosen the four companies that will present at the first round of this year’s $20K venture challenge semifinals. Those companies are:

Founders of these four companies will take the stage at Social Tables on March 22 and do their best to impress the panel of venture judges. For this first semifinal those judges include Ashley Larson of Revolution, Sara Fagen of K Street Capital and Parag Sheth of Maryland Venture Fund. Kate Glantz, founder of the locally-build wedding registry for charitable giving Heartful.ly, will emcee the evening.
