“Are you hungry for voting BUT ALSO just regular hungry?” @PizzaToThePolls asks. Well, now that you mention it.
Pizza to the Polls is a quirky internet project built and maintained by 18F design, product and front-end guy Noah Manger and his friend (and, presumably, fellow pizza enthusiast) Scott Riker Duncombe. It’s a simple website (and a Twitter account) via which you can report long voter lines and donate money to be used to send pizza to these patient patriots.

“Americans are hungry for democracy and are turning out in record numbers to vote,” the site states. “But that means long lines and sometimes empty stomachs, which might discourage these brave patriots from performing their civic duty.”
So far, according to the website, Pizza to the Polls has sent pizza to crazy long lines like this one in Cincinnati and this one in Florida. But that was all pre-actual Election Day — today is the day Pizza to the Polls was built for. The day it hopes to shine.
We've added a donation button https://t.co/JoMqWWbAds ! Send us some cash and we'll send some hungry voters pizza 🍕❤️💯🇺🇸🏄🍕

Pizza to the Polls got its 4,000-follower strong Twitter account and some initial cash from the political action committee Americans Against Insecure Billionaires with Tiny Hands, Duncombe told Technical.ly in an email. “But this is a nonpartisan non-PAC effort,” he wrote. It’s just about the ?.
