The open data movement in Delaware seems to be moving fast.
State officials will launch Delaware’s new open data portal next month. A celebratory event will take place Oct. 19 at 1313 Innovation with the help of Open Data Delaware and Tech Forum. Gov. Jack Markell is expected to speak.
“We will also feature a panel discussion and demos of the Open Data Portal,” event organizers write. “Come learn about the data sets including health, state spending, transportation, environmental, and many more. Experts will share how to interact with the portal to build civic tech to create positive change for our communities.”
If you’re interested in being a part of this historic launch, be sure to RSVP. You’ll need a name badge to get in.
