Co-sponsored by the Horn Program and Start It Up Delaware!, the event is unofficially starting an hour early at 5 p.m. when Horn professor Tony Middlebrooks will talk about the Lerner College of Business & Economics’ new graduate degree program called the Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Design.
The program involves partnerships between the Horn Program, the Department of Engineering’s Department of Mechanical Engineering, and the College of Arts & Sciences.
Then from 6-8 p.m., local entrepreneurs and community tech leaders will give project and event updates.

Among those speaking will be Adam Twersky, who’s organizing the East Coast Tech Fest in October. The conference will be invitation-only, and he’s currently looking for entrepreneurs to invite. He’s particularly interested in entrepreneurs who have a great idea but could use some help on the business side. The creative conference, he said, will hold workshops on business management and marketing while there will be other opportunities for creative expression and working on projects.
