The Neighborhood Challenge 5.0 wants to find and pay for a great nonprofit-startup partnership that will use innovative tools to help improve a neighborhood.
The grant is up to $100,000 to improve neighborhood problems like: management of public space, sustainability and energy efficiency, and transportation and transit.
According to the competition’s website, it is looking to support “innovative ideas that use data-driven capacity building solutions to improve operations, target services, or address local public policy challenges.”
Sounds like a tech solution waiting to happen. Get to it, civic hackers.
Applications are due by May 14, and there is a kickoff event with more instructions on March 28.
