The US is a much different place than it was in 1776, well before DC became its capital. What would it look like in another 250 years?

As the country prepares to commemorate the semiquincentennial in 2026, we wanted to look ahead and speculate on how the DMV will operate in 2276.

We’ve drafted some ideas, and now we want your thoughts on what the DC region will become. You can fill out the form with multiple-choice questions below and add your thoughts. From there, we will write a draft statement of what the DMV will look like in 2276, to be published at the beginning of 2025.
