Here’s your chance to play the world’s biggest video game: Cira Centre Tetris®

Drexel University Gaming Professor Dr. Frank Lee will host your chance to play the Guinness-certified world's largest video game: Tetris on the north face of the 437-foot tall Cira Centre.

Full Disclosure: Technical.ly Philly organizes Philly Tech Week Presented by AT&T.

We’re getting the fourth annual Philly Tech Week Presented by AT&T started with a kickoff Arcade at the Oval where Drexel University Gaming Professor Dr. Frank Lee will host your chance to play the Guinness-certified world’s largest video game: Tetris® on the north face of the 437-foot tall Cira Centre. Brandywine Realty Trust, which owns and operates Cira, is a partner in the project.

On Friday April 4th head to Eakins Oval for games, local app demos, live performances, 10 food trucks and a Yards beer garden in a celebration of the city’s vibrant digital arts, gaming and creative technology community. Look to the skyline to watch live Tetris® gaming and to see Philly Tech Week and local innovation promoted on the PECO Crown Lights. RSVP to attend on Facebook.

Because of time and opportunity constraints, fewer than 100 people will be able to play. Those signing up here before Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. will be entered into a free lottery for the chance to play in the tournament as part of Philly Tech Week.

Artwork by local designer, Jeffrey Bouchard of Articus, will be available at the Arcade at the Oval on a limited run of t-shirts.
