It was awarded a $110,000 grant from the Wayne-based Barra Foundation, the University City Science Center announced in a recent press release. Including this latest round of funding, the center, a joint initiative between Breadboard, NextFab Studio, Public Workshop and the Hacktory, has received more than $360,000 in grants from organizations like Knight Foundation, Cognizant and Art Place America.
The grant will be used to “develop and deliver programming,” according to the release.
