Philadelphia-based civic hacking group Code for Philly has taken interest in the work being done at Zip Code Wilmington, which is why both will be collaborating on an open house in Philadelphia on Nov. 29 at 6 p.m.
With Code for Philly’s founder recently landing a spot on Code for America’s National Advisory Council and Zip Code Wilmington’s recent recognition by the White House, this collabo totally makes sense.
What does it all mean? Two awesomely smart groups of people have decided to get together and talk, that’s all. It fits the mold of Delaware’s ongoing spirit of collaboration. You also don’t have to worry if you’re not a coder, you’re still invited to attend.
