For the second year running, DCFemTech is celebrating powerful women programmers. This year, though, the umbrella organization for women in tech groups in D.C. also wants to honor female designers.
As of Thursday morning nominations are open — know an awesome woman working as a coder or designer? Or maybe you are one?
Nominate someone
Nominations are due by March 25. Winners will be chosen based on these three criteria:
- Impact on organization (helped company/nonprofit grow & achieve goals)
- Complexity of issues addressed with: code (building a webpage vs. a complex system) or design (designing a platform that provides a great user experience vs. one-page website)
- Impact on community (contributed to broader tech/women in tech community or open source contributions)
