Penn’s Singh Center for Nanotechnology wants your tiny, tiny projects

The University of Pennsylvania’s Singh Center for Nanotechnology put out a call for researchers and startups to submit their brightest, tiniest projects as part of the Innovation Seed Grant Competition.

Participants will get a chance to have access tot laboratory/equipment time at the Singh Center and a spot to pitch their projects to investors during the annual Singh Nano Conference happening in October.

It’s not just a Penn thing. The contest is open to companies, students and researchers outside the university’s ecosystem.

“This competition is designed to help start-ups and small business launch nano related products, by providing access to crucial equipment for fabrication, characterization and measurement of nanomaterials and devices,” said the center’s marketing director Shannon Migdal.
