Techstars’ Philly Startup Weekend is happening this fall

Tickets went live today for the 54-hour startupfest happening Nov. 11-13.

Denver-based accelerator Techstars is coming to town this week for a quick Q&A, but they have a bigger Philly jawn planned for the fall called Philly Startup Weekend.
From Nov. 11-13, at CityCoHo, attendees can join a community of peers to bring an idea up to pitch-competition speed in 54 hours.
“Once everything is complete, teams will be presenting to a panel of well-esteemed judges who will crown the winners,” reads the event invite. “Prizes will be distributed to the first, second and third place teams.”
Participants will have access to the coworking space’s facility and mentorship from members of Philly’s tech community.

Tickets are priced at $99, but there’s a $50 discount for students. Just enter the code “STUDENT” at checkout. Regular attendees can also use discount code “EARLYBIRD” until Oct. 14 to get tickets for $75.
Startup Weekend has hosted some 2,900 weekend-long shindigs in 150 countries. Here’s a quick video of what you can expect:
