Mingle with tech evangelists at this Microsoft Reactor meet & greet

This marks the second public event at the University City space, and the first one to let visitors explore Microsoft technologies.

Looks like the Microsoft Reactor Philadelphia is getting its first full-fledged day in the sun.
Following a soft launch during the Democratic National Convention, the space will be hosting an open meet and greet with tech evangelists on Aug. 23 — from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. —complete with coffee, donuts and a peek at some brand new Microsoft tech.
Last July, when we headed over to the former Microsoft Innovation Center at the University City Science Center to cover Committee of Seventy’s civic tech pitch competition, we found a different name on the walls.
Though no comment was available at the time from the Redmond, Wa.-based tech giant on why the switch, the company has since addressed the launch of the reactor in this post by Philly-native Jeff Friedman, Microsoft’s Director of Modern Government.
