Social enterprise accelerator GoodCompany Group held its annual demo day last week, giving the 11 participating companies a chance to pitch to a room of investors at First Round Capital’s headquarters. It also announced a new logo.

This is the first class of GoodCompany graduates that have a chance to raise money from a pool of $500,000 committed by local angel group Investors’ Circle. The investment process takes several months, so it’s too soon to say which social entrepreneurs will receive the investment, said GoodCompany Group cofounder Garrett Melby, though at least one 2013 graduate is already in discussions with Investors’ Circle. Investors’ Circle Philadelphia president John Moore also recently joined the GoodCompany board, Melby said.

GoodCompany Group is going through a period of transition, with cofounder Zoe Selzer leaving the organization and the group’s involvement with FastFWD, the newly launched public-private social enterprise accelerator.
