Coding bootcamps are often lauded as a valuable way to increase the tech talent pipeline for a (relatively) low cost. But even with the consistent cry that there isn’t enough talent to meet demand, it can be challenging for grads to land that first job. Let’s be real — landing a first job in any field is hard.

So as bootcamps grow and expand, one area they are focusing on is career services — helping grads land jobs and boosting those “placement” numbers.

In service of this, General Assembly in D.C. is gearing up to host its first Career Lab Day — a daylong event filled with workshops and panel discussions and advice on how to launch a career in tech (and in #dctech in particular).

Join to learn about the D.C. tech ecosystem, how to get a job at a startup, how to build a great resume and more. The career day is Feb. 11, and tickets are $20.
