Two weeks remain in advertising agency MGH‘s “Make it Big” contest, which will award one small business “a billboard designed and placed by the agency,” according to an MGH press release.
Are you familiar with that billboard along I-83 depicting Mr. Boh proposing to the Utz girl? Then you’re familiar with what MGH can do.
To enter, companies must submit a video to MakeItBigContest.com that’s under two minutes explaining why they deserve the free space.
Upload your two-minute video to YouTube, then fill out the Make it Big form here.

Additionally, companies entering the contest must adhere to the following:

  • Businesses should make no more than $5 million in annual revenue.
  • It should be a for-profit venture.
  • And the company must be based in Maryland.
  • Business owners must be U.S. residents at least 18 years old.

According to the release, public voting on three finalists chosen by MGH will begin Feb. 20, when people can view all three finalists’ videos on MGH’s Facebook page. “The business with the most valid votes will receive a free billboard, which has the potential to garner more than 1.6 million impressions,” said the release.
Public voting closes March 5.
