Some Tuesdays call for chocolate.

July 7 is World Chocolate Day. Why, you may ask, is a holiday celebrating something so susceptible to melting in July?

According to the lore, chocolate as we know it evolved over 4,000 years from its Mesoamerican roots, and was introduced to Europe on July 7, 1550. It would be nearly another 200 years before the summer-friendly invention of chocolate ice cream, which would hit the spot right about now.

With that, this week’s 25 opportunities are ready to unwrap.
