Every week we ship an email newsletter featuring the region’s most exciting career opportunities. We’ve lovingly called it This Week in Jobs (aka TWIJ). Below is this week’s edition; it’s meant to live in your inbox. Sign up for the newsletter here.

It starts with one small step.

The first moon landing took place on July 20, 1968. Neil Armstrong’s famous first step on the moon happened at 10:51 pm Eastern Time. But the moon doesn’t align with earthly time zones, so it’s more accurate to say that the first moon walk began at 2:51 Universal Coordinated Time on July 21, 1968. That’s 58 years ago today.

Apollo 11 was an exercise in navigating uncertainty. A job search is a lot less dramatic, but the underlying idea holds up: big changes rarely begin with certainty. They begin when someone decides the next step is worth taking.

If you’re ready to leave familiar ground, here are this week’s roles.
