Pittsburgh is home to more than a dozen coworking spaces, so which one is right for you?

Not all coworking spaces look alike these days. While all locations on this list offer workers a place to set up shop for the day, some spaces were specially designed to host community events or offer unique amenities, like a commercial kitchen, arcade or movie theater.

The popularity of coworking spaces has been growing in Pittsburgh since the late 2010s. There have been some closures in recent years, like Code & Supply’s space on Friendship Avenue, but new locations are popping up too, like Creative Chem Co. in Bloomfield.

Pittsburgh is also lucky to have some lovely coffee shops that are great for working at, like Margaux in East Liberty or the several Commonplace Coffee locations across the city, but we reserve this guide for coworking spaces only.

There are also more vague working locations from national coworking networks like Regus or Spaces, but we’ve left those off our list this year because the amenities and quality of the spaces could not be verified.
