Brooklynites featured at Killscreen’s TWO5SIX Conference, May 16th

TWO5SIX is a conference project from industry news source KillScreen that pairs recognized leaders in gaming with someone of equal prominence in another field aimed for illuminating dialogue. The next TWO5SIX will take place Friday, May 16th at Roulette Intermedium in Downtown Brooklyn.

Here are five Brooklynites scheduled to take part in these conversations that we are looking forward to seeing:

Kaho Abe
Current artist in residence at the Game Innovation Lab. Abe is someone who keeps coming up as we cover the borough. She makes games with physical elements, provoking thoughtfulness and change.

Catherine Burns
Artistic Director at the groundbreaking storytelling organization, The Moth, she’s worked on bringing Moth stroies to a radio and book store audiences as well as their live shows around the country.

Becky Stern
Host of the Adafruit show on YouTube, Wearable Electronics with Becky Stern, she’s also the company’s wearables guru. Adafruit makes electronic parts that can be put together into all sorts of DIY gadgets. She comes up with new electronic wearable products for makers to try every week.

Terence Nance
We have met Nance before. We ran into him at the MiNY Media Center‘s Kickoff party. Since then, his film, An Oversimplification of Her Beauty has won a Gotham Independent Film Award.

Alexis Ohanian 
Cofounder of Reddit. He wrote a book.
