TechCrunch is doing a show about startups in Brooklyn

It's a good sign of the growing maturity of the borough's startup scene.

The video series is called Built in BrooklynHere’s the trailer (which isn’t embeddable, apparently).

Yesterday, the project dropped its first episode, profiling Maker’s Row.

The trailer lists two other companies the series will start with:

We’re pretty sure we also saw leaders from The Brooklyn Grange and The Atavist in the teaser.

It’s good to see that the growing maturity of this community is getting recognition beyond the “did you know there are startups in Brooklyn?” variety.

The teaser says Built in Brooklyn will focus on Williamsburg and Dumbo.
