What was slated to be a busy week for startup enthusiasts in Baltimore has been thrown off by Hurricane Sandy. Stay safe out there, but be sure to check out the events happening in the latter part of the week. Another installment of the Baltimore TechBreakfast happens Wednesday, and gb.tc‘s Tech Night, the annual celebration of this area’s technology community, takes place Thursday evening at Lexington Market. On Friday, Drupal developers, head to the Beehive in Canton for a day of coworking.
Two event updates: Tuesday’s Startup Grind has been postponed until Dec. 4 due to impending weather courtesy of Hurricane Sandy. Also, the Tuesday meeting of the Baltimore Lean Startup Meetup (Resources for Startups and Entrepreneurs) has been canceled.
Baltimore TechBreakfast: October wouldn’t be complete without the Baltimore TechBreakfast. Head to DLA Piper to hear pitches from startups BetaPunch, Mailstrom, Sickweather and more. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 8 p.m. DLA Piper, 6225 Smith Ave., Mt. Washington, Baltimore city. RSVP. FREE.
Tech Night at Lexington Market: Tech Night, the annual celebration of the Baltimore-area technology community hosted by gb.tc, happens Thursday evening at historic Lexington Market. New this year is the Startup Arena, where 20 “up-and-coming companies” stationed at featured tables will pitch their businesses to attendees. Thursday, Nov. 1, 7 p.m. Lexington Market, 201 N. Paca St., Downtown, Baltimore city. RSVP. $60.
