This is the Startup Roundup. Every Wednesday morning, Technically Baltimore will put together the smaller pieces that make up our startup ecosystem.
Get ready for Baltimore’s second Startup Weekend kicking off September 28. Registration for the weekend begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Betamore, the new coworking space opening up in Federal Hill in September. Participants will have 54 hours to conceive of, recruit for and build a startup company. Organizers include Nick Miller, co-founder of Parking Panda, Sarge Salman, co-organizer of the Baltimore Lean Startup Meetup, and Mike Brenner, co-founder of Betamore. [Full disclosure: Brenner is a partner with Technically Baltimore, which will have space at Betamore. Startup Weekend is also one of the events planned to coincide with the inaugural Baltimore Innovation Week, organized by Technically Baltimore.] Register for Startup Weekend here.
