Philly’s Startup Weekend 4.0 takes over University of the Arts late next month. The weekend-long (duh) event brings together hackers, designers, marketers and their ilk to develop products and launch startups (see: Launchrock). Early bird tickets are on sale until Sept. 7, so get on that because the event routinely sells out.
Here’s co-organizer Melissa Morris Ivone with a preview of next month’s event: “I’m pushing for a PHLSW lip dub, even though I was shot down at the last event.”
Also, if you’re already setting your sights for the fifth installment, Brad Oyler, another local co-organizer, hints that we can expect another iteration during Philly Tech Week 2013 again.
