Think you can build a compelling healthcare mobile or web app in one weekend?

Seems like a tall order, but the organizers of Startup Weekend Health think 54 hours is plenty of time.  The event — which begins at 6:00 pm Friday, June 1, 2012 — will bring clinicians, software developers, graphics designers and business people to the Callowhill-based coworking space Venturef0rth to come up with the basis for a viable healthcare startup.

[Disclaimer: Technically Philly is a media sponsor.]

As in previous iterations of Startup Weekend around the country, a cadre of coaches will help teams hone their ideas and address specific challenges facing the healthcare industry.

Final presentations begin at 5:00 pm that Sunday June 3, 2012.

The business concepts will be judged by appRenaissance CEO and Philly Startup Leaders president Bob Moul, McKinsey & Company healthcare technology practice manager Brian Milch and health IT attorney Howard Burde. After dinner, they will announce the winner, just in time for everyone to go home and catch up on sleep.

Early bird tickets are available until May 11, 2012. To see a full schedule and register for Startup Weekend Health click here.
