City Notes app raising $800k // Etsy is a “Best Place to Work” [Startup Roundup]

Who’s getting money? 

City Notes, the location discovery app from iOS developer Mark Dorison and former Business Insider staffer Dan Frommer, has raised $60,000 of a planned $800,000 debt round, according to an SEC filing.

East Coast Cultures, the Flushing Ave company that wants to help you make your own Kombucha (though they have also made the fermented drink for you), secured $120,000 of a $400,000 debt round, according to an SEC filing. Last week, they opened up their facility for a free tour.
