Meet RepresentPA.

In only about a week of its existence, the map now charts nearly 100 tech shops including startups, coworking spaces and incubators. The sites are popping up in other markets across the country.

Coeyman says the site, which he calls an “experiment,” got 1,500 hits in the first 24 hours of its launch.

The 25-year-old Cabrini College graduate says it only took him three hours to build the site with the RepresentMap API, an open source project by the team behind Represent LA.

Jordan Coeyman built RepresentPA.com in part to meet more entrepreneurs.

Coeyman built the site in part to grow his personal network. He says he’s frustrated he doesn’t know more people who are “obsessed with technology and startups” like he is. He recently co-founded CrowdEngage, a startup that aims to help businesses and consumers interact, and he wants to meet other people who are going through the same process.

“I feel like I have a million questions as I begin my adventure,” he wrote in an email, “and I just want to know some people.”

Coeyman, who grew up in Bucks County and works part-time as a tech handyman for a real estate site, says he’s heard a lot of good ideas but he’s not sure what’s next for RepresentPA.

“It’ll be totally awesome though, I promise,” he says.
