Get all the relevant online shopping promo codes you need with one bookmarklet. That’s what new local startup Promofly aims to deliver.
The tool aggregates promo codes so you don’t have to go searching for one. If you’re shopping on Amazon, a click on the bookmarklet will alert you of any codes you can use.

Cofounder Nathan Johnson says he’s focused on keeping all the codes up-to-date, so you’re not messing around with expired ones, as you might on your average promo code site.
Johnson, 29, left his marketing job at Johnson & Johnson a year ago to pursue something more entrepreneurial. With the help of childhood friend and developer Tyler Hunt, who lives in Portland, Ore., he created Promofly.
The tool has gotten more than 100 comments on Reddit since Johnson posted it a week ago. He said he’s considering different revenue models but is primarily concerned with making Promofly the best it can be before he goes down that road.
Johnson works out of Indy Hall and says the Philly tech community has been “phenomenal” and very encouraging.
“There’s no place I’d rather be,” he says about Philly.
An Orlando, Fla. native who moved to Philly for work, Johnson lives in Fairmount with his wife.
