One way to help grow the Philly tech scene? Get the word out.
Philly Founded is a community effort to do exactly that. (Not to be confused with DuckDuckGo founder Gabriel Weinberg‘s local tech scene starter kit FoundedinPhilly.com.)
Led by Philly Startup Leaders‘ events director Gloria Bell and Seed Philly founder Brad Denenberg, it’s a marketing campaign to tell the many stories of our local tech scene. The idea is to feature 50 startups, success stories and community members in 50 days from March 11 to May 24. (That’s one startup, one success story and one community member, which includes service providers, investors, accelerators and more, per day.) We’ll be highlighting stories throughout the campaign.
The centerpiece of the campaign will be an expo for Philly Founded participants during Philly Tech Week.
