The Philadelphia Housing Authority is, for the first time, holding an auction of properties it doesn’t foresee using. The auction will be held Nov. 16.

PHA holds the deeds of some 3,300 properties in the city, as the Inquirer reported. The auction is being held by the Max Spann Real Estate and Auction Company, the firm that prepared the map. Most of the properties on auction are clustered in North Philadelphia.
