Next week: Check out 1776’s startup demo day

Head over to the Brooklyn Navy Yard next week to see a rundown of what could become the startups of the future.

Incubator 1776 will hold a demo day presentation Wednesday, Sept. 20 that’s free and open to the public to attend.

Presenting will be 10 young startups from the 1776’s summer cohort, including Simplifi, a dashboard for managing student loans, which won 1776’s regional Challenge Cup competition last month. The startups group will also include Bixby, an interface to make the renter-landlord relationship more automated (something plenty of buildings in Brooklyn would benefit from, if Tuesday’s map is anything to go by).
