Here’s a great opportunity for your budding startup: Apply for the Make It In Brooklyn pitch contest for a chance to win $5,000 and the notice of three high-powered judges from the Brooklyn tech world.
The Make It In Brooklyn pitch competition is part of that group’s Innovation Summit, a daylong smorgasbord of talks, workshops and panels about how to make it in Brooklyn. The summit takes place on Sept. 28 and the pitch competition will close out the day.
Judges for the pitch competition will be: venture capitalist Charlie O’Donnell, founder of Brooklyn Bridge Ventures; marketing and branding expert D.K. Smith; and Joana Vicente, the executive director of the Made in NY Media Center.
Our own editor-in-chief, Zack Seward, will be MCing the event.
The winner of the last Make It In Brooklyn pitch competition was Humblee, a video content marketing platform.
Five pitches will be accepted from among the applicants, and will have two minutes each to pitch the judges.
Deadline to apply is Aug. 21. You got this.
