Media folks: looking for a free workspace? Made in NY Media Center’s got you (maybe)

The Dumbo-based media incubator is accepting applications for its yearlong fellowship until the end of the month.

Working out of your apartment or cafes is so annoying that a whole industry — coworking — has sprouted up as a fix. So if you’re working in media or tech or some combination of the two, and your home office looks like Travis Bickle’s from Taxi Driver, consider applying for a fellowship at the Made in NY Media Center.
Until the end of the month, the center is accepting applications for a year of free office space in its creative Dumbo environment, as well as mentorship and access to its events and talks. The center will choose 10 deserving fellows by Nov. 21.
The center is looking for people working in documentary filmmaking, augmented reality, gaming and way more related fields.
If that sounds good, send in an application. Deadline is Nov. 1.
