Do computers dream? Do they cry at night? What are their hopes?

So this seems great: Play with computers to influence their dreams at an art opening reception this week, why not?
Thursday night at the Made in NY Media Center, BRDGE Studios will host an opening reception for its installation, Digital Dreamscapes.
RSVP
“Through interactive realtime generative art, you can explore and influence the Digital Dreamscapes that may exist all around us, yet remain unseen to our analog eyes,” the invitation promises.

Very happy to announce BRDG Studio’s Art Exhibition of “DIGITAL DREAMSCAPE” at the New York Media Center in DUMBO during the month of September. DO COMPUTERS DREAM WHEN WE PUT THEM TO SLEEP? “Experience the dreams of our computers in a truly interactive and explorative installation. Realized with State of the Art, Real-Time Generative Programming and showcased on the NY Media Center’s 27 screen video wall, you will be transported into the unseen dreams of our computers subconscious.” DIGITAL DREAMSCAPE NY Media Center 30 John St, Brooklyn, NY 11201 9am – 7pm // Sept 1st – Sept 31st Trailer music by Com Truise – “Norkuy” #touchdesigner #realtime #generativeart #geometry #sacredgeometry #ai #artificialintelligence #dreamscape #digitaldreamscape #brdgstudios #c4d #3dmodel #3dgeometry #interactive #interactiveart #interactiveart

By holding your hand six inches above a sensor, you’ll be able to influence the physical representation of the computer’s dreams. Neat! The creators of the project will be in attendance to talk about their work and there’s free wine and beer.
But if we really want to talk about dreams, there’s only one voice we should be listening to, and that’s Werner Herzog, below, from his film, Cave of Forgotten Dreams:
