ElectNext, the matchmaking site for politics, was one of the winners at DEMO, a national startup showcase, the Silicon Valley Business Journal reports. The startup has been getting lots of press recently, with mentions in Forbes and VentureBeat.

Ecommerce site Kembrel changed its brick and mortar location at 12th and Locust streets into a men’s clothing shop, Phrequency reports.

VerbalizeIt, whose team is located in Boulder, Co., Philadelphia and New York City, has partnered with Skype in the Classroom, according to this release.
