The Knight Arts Challenge is back and now accepting applications.

Launched in 2010, the $9 million initiative funds local arts projects. According to the Knight Foundation, the only rules are:

  1. Your idea is about arts.
  2. Your project takes place in or benefits Philadelphia.
  3. You find other funding to match Knight Foundation’s grant.

Apply here by midnight, Oct. 15.

Past tech community winners of the grant include:

  • The Hacktory for its Corps of Interactive Artist Teachers
  • Sean Stoops for Animated Architecture: 3D Video Mapping Projections on Historic Sites
  • Little Berlin for Little Berlin Fairgrounds
  • Fairmount Park Association for Open Air
