Spaces, a coworking brand owned by IWG (formerly Regus) signed a lease for more than 30,000 square feet of space on the first and second floor of 41 Flatbush Ave., the Commercial Observer is reporting.

According to CO, the coworking company will take all of the second floor and a few thousand feet of the ground floor of the newly renovated office building. It will join Gimlet Media, which was the first company to take space in the building last year.

Regus was the first major company in the shared office business. Founded in 1989 in Belgium, the company’s U.S. operations filed for bankruptcy in 2003, following the dot-com crash. The company has since been acquired and renamed as IWG. Regus had a suit-and-tie reputation, but its new Spaces brand seems to compete in the trendy and millennial WeWork-esque style. While IWG has office space all over the world, this will be the company’s first space in Brooklyn.
