event highlights

We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Philadelphia. And to all of those that got up early (or stayed up late) for Black Friday, we hope you got the gadget you were after.
Before we get to the events, we have a present for you. Use the code  5AATECHP when purchasing a ticket for the Wharton BizTech event this week and save $30 bucks off the “professional” ticket price to bring the total cost under $100. Quite a steal if you ask us.
This week: help the tots, get schooled on e-commerce and make an IMPACT.

IMPACT 2011 – The Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies, or PACT, holds its keystone conference this week in partnership with Silicon Valley media company AlwaysOn. The conference is a mix of talks with CEOs, investors, entrepreneurs and others.  In a previous interview with Technically Philly, conference chairman Jay Coogan said the conference is shooting to attract tech workers from all over the Mid-Atlantic. Technically Philly is a media sponsor of this event. Tuesday and Wednesday. All day. Center CityINFO.
Wharton BizTech – E-commerce entrepreneurs from Philadelphia and elsewhere gather at the Ritz Carlton to talk about what’s next in the always-growing field. University City. INFO.
Tech For Tots – We know there are a lot of charities clamoring for your help this time of year, but we think Tech for Tots is worth your attention and your generosity.
