For all the bluster about Philadelphia’s entrepreneurial spirit, it’s important to remember that Philadelphia is still not consistently a top 10 market in the endless array of IT jobs market data crunching. Here comes another from Bright Labs.
Though, in truth, Philadelphia may be getting lost in this infographic because of the density of the East Coast (Optics Valley?), it’s worth noting that the broad corridor there is a dense one for tech employment.
Philadelphia should continue to grow its reputation for business development and attract and retain all of its talent, but this visualization surely conveys how much more interesting an East Coast tech scene looks than any of our neighboring cities sticking it out alone.
